What is EVO ICL?
The ICL is an Implantable Contact Lens (ICL) and can be a solution for patients who want to be free of prescription glasses.
This small lens is made from a soft, biocompatible material that contains collagen and works in harmony with the natural eye. ICL is added to the eye to provide sharp, clear vision while the eye’s natural lens remains in place.
How is EVO ICL Implanted?
The ICL is implanted in three simple steps after the eye is numbed using anaesthetic drops.
- The surgeon makes a small 3mm opening at the edge of the cornea and inserts the ICL in the eye.
- The ICL is positioned in the correct position.
- The opening is self sealing and no sutures are required.

Am I Suitable For EVO ICL?
You have a high chance of being suitable for EVO ICL If you meet the criteria below:
- You are at least 18 years old
- Your glasses prescription is between -3D to -20D
- Your glasses prescription has been stable for at least 6-12 months
- You have no history of chronic eye inflammation or other eye problems

You will be administered anesthetic eye drops before your vision correction procedure and so the procedure is painless.
What is recovery like after the ICL Lens procedure?

Will I be able to feel ICL once it is in place?
You will not feel the ICL once it is in place, nor is the lens visible to others.
